Back story:
Yukimura has spent the last year of his life in the not so exciting world of corporate marketing. School counselors, college professors and his father of the same profession had promised him a world of excitement and challenge in this field, which were qualities Yukimura had always thrived on. His first job out of college landed him in a stuffy corporate office, where he was forced to use his artistic nature and the four years of studying he’d poured his soul into at Todai University to utter waste.
It made him start to wonder if giving up tennis professionally to pursue an education had been the smartest decision he’d made.
After a particularly boring day at the office, an argument with a senior executive over change made Yukimura feel fed up with it all, and after a year of the same mundane tasks, he decided to call it quits. Of course, the bills wouldn’t pay themselves, and Yukimura wasn’t one to go crawling back to mommy and daddy, he needed to find another job, and quickly. He’d heard about some new job openings at a hotel down the street from his high-rise condominium and they intrigued him, it was just the sort of change he needed in his life at that moment.
